A good GED score is typically considered to be a total score of 580 out of 800, or an average of 145 on each of the four sections of the test (Math, Science, Social Studies, and Reasoning Through Language Arts). Many colleges require a score of 165-174 for college-ready level, and a score of 175-200 for college-ready + credit level.
